HOW COULD YOU SUPPORT SOUP?
Soup Events take a lot of time and effort to put together and to run and we rely on the help and good will of so many people to contribute their time and resources. Here are some ideas for how you could help with Soup Events:
We Need Soup Makers
Soup made from fresh produce is the starting point for Soup Events and we look for local independent cafe’s who can produce the finest Vegan soup for us to eat on the night. Boscanova in Boscombe has provided soup for Boscombe Soup events and we are on the lookout for Cafe’s across the area. If you know a Cafe Owner who would like a little promotion let us know!
We Need Bread Makers
Freshly baked bread is a cornerstone for Soup events and we look for local independent bakers who can produce the finest loaves for us to eat on the night. M’s Bakery in Boscombe has provided bread for Boscombe Soup events and we are on the lookout for Bakers across the area. If you know a Baker who would like a little promotion let us know!
We Need Soup Dragons
Soup Dragons play an important role at Soup Events. They are great people, either individuals, groups, businesses, organisations and charities who donate funds to grow the pot of money on the night!
The donations are sometimes anonymous, or promoted as part of a companies community CSR programme.
Money can be spread across multiple Soup Events or targeted towards specific events or themes.
We Need Soup Co-Host Venues
Soup Events need venues that can hold about 100 people sitting down to eat a community meal together and we need somewhere for people to present their pitches from. The cost of a Venue can be anywhere from £100-£250. So we welcome contributions of Venues either directly or Sponsors willing to support us with venues that charge for room hire.
We Need Volunteers
Our Soup Crew are the people who make Soup happen on the night as well as help share and spread the word about Soup to friends and within the community. You can join our local “Soup Crew” group on Facebook and connect with the team.
We have had Company volunteers joining us from Tesco and JP Morgan Chase Bank. Its a great way to support your community!
We Need Video & Photos
Soup Events are great and we want to spreed the word and share the stories of the people who pitch and the story of Soup. We need Photographers and Videographers who can provide images for us to use.
